SME Internationalisation Mentoring and Support Programme. The Spanish Chamber of Commerce has opened applications for its “International Mentoring” grant. SMEs can receive up to 28,000 euros to carry out an Internationalisation Plan designed beforehand with the help of a mentor from a large company.
The eligible activity is: designing, modifying or expanding websites, including registration and domain costs.
Funding for these activities can reach 28,000 euros, based on maximum eligible expenditure of 35,000 euros. In other words, it covers 80% of costs up to a spending limit of 35,000 euros.
Companies interested in the “International Mentoring” scheme can submit their applications through the Spanish Chamber of Commerce’s online portal until 31 December 2023. They must meet the following criteria:
Kit Consulting is a Spanish government grant programme that helps SMEs like yours design a roadmap for digital transformation. It provides a Digital Advisory Voucher that you must use to purchase advisory services. The amount depends on the size of your company: 12.000€ for 10 to fewer than 50 employees, 18.000€ for 50 to fewer than 100 employees, and 24.000€ for 100 to fewer than 250 employees.
The recipient company must use the voucher to purchase one or more advisory services from the programme catalogue.
Digital Advisors will provide the service selected by the company and guide the SME through the next steps in its digitalisation journey.

Launched by IVACE and available exclusively to Valencian SMEs in certain activities or CNAE categories. It aims to introduce new technologies for digitalisation. These are non-repayable grants of up to 100.000€ (40% for small businesses with up to 49 employees and 30% for medium-sized businesses with 50 to 249 employees). They support projects costing at least 15.000€ carried out between 1 January and 31 December 2022.
It covers the following digitalisation technologies:
It funds investment in hardware, sensors, automation and communications equipment, as well as the external consultancy and technical support needed to implement the systems.
Applications can be submitted from 12 January 2022 to 3 March 2022, and the programme has a budget of eight million euros.

This Spanish government initiative forms part of the rollout of the EU’s Next Generation funds. It aims to subsidise the implementation of digital solutions through a non-repayable voucher scheme with 500 million € in funding. Depending on company size, businesses can receive a voucher worth 12.000€ (10 to 50 employees), 6.000€ (SMEs with 3 to 10 employees) or 2.000€ (microbusinesses and self-employed people).
SMEs with fewer than 50 employees, including self-employed people throughout Spain, can apply. They must work with a provider specialising in the solution to be implemented who has registered as a “digitalisation agent”, and then complete a “digital diagnostic test” at acelerapyme.gob.es. The grant terms have been published, and applications are expected to open imminently, in late January or early February. Grants will be approved in order of application until the funds run out, so it’s advisable not to delay. Funding covers website and e-commerce development; social media creation and management; online, automated customer and supplier management; dashboards and data management tools; remote working; process digitalisation; electronic invoicing; security protocols for connections and devices; and cybersecurity.
